Our Aim
Our aim as CityHope Disaster Relief is to keep administrative costs to an absolute minimum to ensure that donor funds are used directly for disaster relief efforts.
We achieve this through the support of our donors in kind. This includes CityHill Church paying for all rental, utility and related administrative costs, and partners paying for the logistics & transport costs, and Hope Kit buckets.
Furthermore, our general and administrative costs as a percentage of expenses amounted to 34% in the year to February 2019. These costs (including items such as bank charges, consultant fees, storage container, salaries & marketing costs) were covered in full by a single donor allowing all other donated funds to be used entirely for the purposes of disaster relief.
Did you know:
Donations to CityHope Disaster Relief are tax deductible! If you make your donation before 28 February, you are eligible for a Section 18A Certificate for this tax year.

We rely on volunteers to support our projects in various ways throughout the year. One of the key areas of support is in Hope Kit packing sessions where we sort the relief aid into 20L buckets. Assistance is also required at times when local disaster hits, which requires a team to assess the situation and conduct the distribution of relief to the beneficiaries. Register on our mailing list to be kept informed of how you can help.
