Marikana Zone 14 Fire Response

A recent fire in Marikana Zone 14, Philippi East, left 26 people affected and tragically claimed one life. Eight families lost nearly everything, and amidst the devastation, immediate support was needed to help them start the journey to recovery.

Thanks to our valued partner, Beautiful Gate, CityHope Disaster Relief Hope Kits were distributed to each of the affected families. These kits provided essential supplies to help them through this challenging time, offering not just practical support but also a glimmer of hope for rebuilding.
