Flood Relief for Ward 04 Community Outside Inchanga

On October 20th, 2024, heavy rains struck Ward 04, outside Inchanga, causing severe flooding that left many residents without homes. As floodwaters damaged homes, most affected families sought temporary shelter with neighbors while they began the daunting task of rebuilding.

CityHope Disaster Relief stepped in to provide essential support to 172 individuals impacted by the floods. Through the distribution of Hope Kits and maize, we aimed to meet immediate needs and offer a sense of hope during a challenging time. Each Hope Kit contained essential items to help families with basic needs, offering comfort as they navigate this difficult period.
