STATUS OF RESPONSE: COMPLETED

Understanding the gravity of the situation, our team mobilised resources and prepared Hope Kits, an assembly of essential items aimed at providing both immediate relief and a message of solidarity. These kits included necessities like food and hygiene products, offering some comfort in these trying times. On Saturday, 08 July 2023, our team reached out to each affected household. Every Hope Kit distributed was a beacon of our commitment to these families, a tangible sign that they were not forgotten, and an affirmation that every life matters. The mission of CityHope Disaster Relief extends beyond merely providing aid. We are dedicated to bringing hope to the communities we serve, to come alongside them in their hour of need and remind them they are valued. Our response to the Cato Crest floods underscored this commitment, and we remain prepared to act whenever and wherever disaster strikes."
