Crown Informal Settlement Fire Response
On Wednesday, 6 October, approximately 40 individuals were left stranded without food, clothing or any other belongings after a fire caused by an electrical fault destroyed their homes at the Crown flats settlement in Kenvillle, Durban.

In partnership with SDI Shack Dwellers International, the CityHope distribution team assisted the families with food, hygiene parcels and 90L wash tubs.
