Cato Crest Fire Response
April 2021CityHope Disaster Relief was tasked by the FNB Philanthropy Donor Choice Foundation Trust to distribute aid to the 50 families that were affected by the informal settlement fires that took place on 18th April 2021.
Each family received the following items:
• 2 x Large Food and Hygiene Parcels
• An additional 10 Toilet Rolls
• 2 x Thick Mattresses
• 3 x Blankets
How we helped
CityHope was thrilled to be able to respond to this community to the extent that we did. The beneficiaries were delighted to receive the abundant support and were grateful to have been assisted in these hard times. They were all overjoyed to have received the parcels and our teams got the opportunity to rejoice in song with them and encourage them to continue pushing through in these difficult times.
