Fire Damage Masiphumelele
Sunday, 19 May 2019A devastating fire tore through the Masiphumelele Settlement in the Western Cape on Sunday 19th May 2019.
There were 51 households and more than 200 people that faced the trauma of losing all of their belongings to the flames and were left homeless as a result of the fire. CityHope, in partnership with The Warehouse, were able to distribute relief aid to all 51 families to ensure that they had adequate food supplies, toiletries and blankets in this difficult time.
